يستخدم زمن المستقبل البسيط للتعبير عن
  1. أحداث مستقبلية غير مؤكدة  We'll travel around the world one day
  2. التنبؤ                    You'll be a great computer operator one day
  3. للتهديد او التحذير              Be quite or I'll send you out
  4. قرارات سريعة                   I'll buy you this ring

ملاحظة
المستقبل البسيط لا يستخدم بعد الكلمات التالية
while, before, until, as soon as, after, if and when  
وإنما نستخدم المضارع البسيط بدلا منه
مثال
I'll make a phone call while I wait for you.
(Not while I will wait for you)
